Fascinated by all the colors that nature has to offer, Leda discovered the fun-filled glory of a paintbrush during the early years of elementary school. Soon after she started to study art privately, experimenting wih oils, watercolor, pastels and silk painting.

Upon settling in New Jersey in 1973, Leda has been commissioned to paint vivid portraits and numerous paintings of private residences all through the years. She has displayed her artwork through group shows as well as solo exhibitions in the U.S. and Europe.

Reflecting a rich palette of happy colors, Leda’s paintings portray a warm and lively atmosphere. Her unique blend of vivid brushstrokes combined with a spontaneous use of the spatula creates an impressionistic style, a look that gives the viewer a feeling of deep pleasure and pure enjoyment. Nature jumps out of her canvases with colorful landscapes, inviting little villages, perfumed fields of flowers, sunny seascapes and most of all with people capturing a playful moment in life.
